Although it fits in the Rucker 2.0 as well it's nice that the strap in the Rucker 1.0 holds the weight in place and prevents it from shifting around. It looks like GORUCK has indeed gone ahead and added a bottom handle to their Rucker 2.0. Looking at the site you can see (as of when this was posted) that the Coyote is selling at $215 without a bottom handle and the rest of the colors are at $225 with a bottom handle. Personally I feel like they should just sew some side handles into this.

I wont say 1.0 or 2.0 is better. I appreciate the continued development on the products, without going full nike and redesigning a perfectly good product every year. I own 3 rucker 1.0's and a GR1. I typically ruck 4-5 times a month. If I dont have time to travel, Ill go urban rucking with my 45# plate. So I use the 45 more than any other plate.
